SPRING 2009 NYS EMS EMT-B Certified Course Starts February 23, 2009
Course is 200 Contact Hours and includes: Extrication (Junk Yard Session), Enhanced Pediatrics (EMSC), Child Abuse, and Geriatrics (GEMS), Introduction to Terrorism and Weapons of Mass Destruction, Introduction to Tactical Medicine, Hazardous Materials Awareness. The 9th Edition of the AAOS "Orange Book" Emergency Care & Transportation of the Sick & Injured, Free Access to AAOS 9th ed. On-Line Tests, AHA BCLS Book, (Taught to 2005~2006 Guidelines) NYS EMS Student Manual NYS DOH Protocol Book Access to The TIMER Download Site, Course Notes and PowerPoint Lectures, and Additional Course Hand-outs. Cost is 675.00
Class starts at 7:30 pm Week Nights and Promptly at 9 am on Weekend Dates

NYS EMS Challenge Refresher
SPRING 2009 Course Starts February 9, 2009
Cost is 325.00 (Book is extra) (AAOS 9th Edition)
(AS OF SEPT 02 FROM NYS EMS)
If you are a NYS EMT working for ANY Ambulance Agency Certified by the DOH in NYS, We will provide you with a NYS Form to be filled out by your Agency. The 325.00 Refresher Tuition is then waived and available to you at NO COST. (NYS EMS Policy Statement 02-10)
BUT ALL Refresher Students MUST ADD an additional 20.00 to offset the costs of the AHA 2005 materials and Guideline Update.
